2 sticks margarine
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups flour, plain
1 cup sour cream
1/4 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar well. Separate egg yolks from egg whites. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add egg yolks one at a time beating well after each addition. Sift flour and baking soda together. Add flour and sour cream alternately. Add egg whites. Do not use any flavorings. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in 300º oven for 1 1/2 hours. As soon as cake is done, remove from pan and cover.
