4 tbsp butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Melt butter. Stir in sugar, egg, and vanilla. Beat until well combined. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Spread batter evenly in a greased 8" square baking pan. Bake at 375º for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
