1 lb. spaghetti
1/2 C. butter or margarine
1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
2 C. diced, smoked or cooked ham
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 C. Ruffino Soave wine
1 C. heavy cream
2 eggs, beaten
2 C. fresh chopped parsley
Salt to taste
Freshly grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large skillet and sauté bacon and ham until golden brown. Add onions and garlic; continue sautéing for 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in wine. Beat cream and eggs together until well blended. Add to sauce. Drain the spaghetti and add to sauce; stir in parsley. Season to taste with salt. Serve hot, sprinkled with grated cheese. Serves 6.
