Part 1:
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup butter
Mix like pie crust.
Pat on cookie sheet in 2 long strips about 3 inches wide.

Part 2:
Put in sauce pan: 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter. Heat to boiling point. As you take from heat add 1 cup flour. Stir until smooth. Then beat in one at a time, 3 eggs. Beating until smooth. After each addition, add 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. Spread lightly over Part 1.

Bake 45 minutes at 375º.
When cool, frost with:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon cream
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon almond extract
