1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
1 cup chopped walnuts

Frosting:

1 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
3 tbsp. butter, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Stir together first 4 ingredients in a large bowl until blended. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; add to butter mixture. Stir until blended and then add sliced apples and walnuts. Spread into a greased 13x9 pan. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.

Frosting:

Beat cream cheese and butter at med. speed with electric mixer; gradually add powdered sugar and salt then vanilla.
