1 cup butter/margarine
1 ½ cups sugar (do half sugar/rest Splenda for less sugar)
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup flour, sifted
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt

For rolling cookies
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

Cream butter & sugar. Add in eggs one at a time. Add remaining ingredients (not cinnamon/sugar).

Mix dough well & chill. It will be stiff & sticky until chilled. Roll dough into little marble sized balls. Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes @ 375º.
