1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco Oil
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract (or substitute lemon extract, if desire a lemon taste)
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
1. Butter and eggs should be room temperature.
2. Grease and flour pan.
3. Mix butter and Crisco.
4. Add sugar and beat until smooth.
5. Add eggs, 2 at a time. Beat well.
6. Add milk, mix well.
7. Add extract, flour and baking powder.
8. Mix well. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325º.
