12 fryer drumsticks
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon seasoning salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
2 cups Crisco Oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Wash drumsticks, shake off excess water. Place in very large bowl. Place flour in large plastic bag.
2. Pour garlic powder, seasoning salt, black pepper and cayenne over chicken. Mix well with hands until all chicken pieces are coated with spice mixture.
3. Place 3 drumsticks at a time in flour. Shake gently. Remove excess flour form drumsticks as you are removing them from bag. Place on waxed paper or paper towels, making sure pieces don't touch. Let stand for about 20 minutes, or until flour coating looks moist.
4. Heat Crisco Oil in large skillet on high heat. Add drumsticks, making sure they do not touch. Cook on one side 15 seconds, then turn. Cover with lid. Lower heat to medium high. Brown on both sides. Remove. Place on cooling rack lined with triple layer of paper towels. Let stand 5 minutes, then serve.
