6 slices of bacon
½ cup minced onion
2 cans Green Giant cream-style corn
4 potatoes, peeled and diced
4 tablespoons of butter or margarine
¼ teaspoon pepper
3 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2-3 cups half & half (blend of milk and cream)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sauté bacon until crisp; remove from fat; reserve for garnish.
2 Sauté onion in bacon drippings until tender.
3. Combine all ingredients, except bacon, in sauce pan; blend well.
4. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Crumble bacon on top before serving.
