2 (15 oz) cans Le Sueur Very Young Early Peas
1 c green onions, finely chopped
2 T butter or margarine
1 T all purpose flour
1/2 T salt
1 c whipping cream
1/2 T lemon zest
3/4 c Swiss cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
In a small pan, warm peas. Set aside. In a medium pan, cook onions in butter until tender but not brown. Blend flour and salt into onions. Add cream and lemon peel. Cook until thick and bubbly. Add cheese. Stir and cook until cheese melts. Do not boil! Drain peas. Fold into sauce. Stir to coat. Serve hot.
