2 to 3 c Pork (cut in thin strips)
1 tbsp oil
1 can chicken or beef broth
1 c chopped onion
1 can (28 oz) chop suey vegetables
1 small can sliced water chestnuts
1/4 c water
1/4 c soy sauce
2 tbls cornstarch
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Brown pork in 1 tbsp hot oil. Add broth and a small amount of water and cook until meat is tender. While pork is cooking, saute onions in a small pan. Add onions, chop suey vegetables and water chestnuts to pork.
Mix 1/4 c water, 1/4 c soy sauce, 2 tbsp cornstarch, pepper, ginger and add mixture to meat & vegetables and simmer until thickened. May add more soy sauce and or cornstarch as necessary. Do not use salt in this recipe as soy sauce is very salty.
Serve over chow mein noodles or rice.
