1 cup margarine
1 cup shortening
1/4 cup salt
3 cups flour
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika
5 qts milk
1 qt water
Directions:
Directions:

Melt margarine, shortening, add flour and seasonings. Mix well. Scald milk and water. Add liquid gradually to the flour mixture, stirring constantly to prevent lumping. Cook until thinckened and smooth. Makes 6 quarts & serves 50.

I would always at least double this receipe for the 100 boy orphanage. They loved it!
