Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Place roast rib side down in roasting pan and roast for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325 degrees and continue roasting
until the meat is browned and reaches desired doneness.

For rare, thermometer should be 120.
About 15 minutes per pound.

For medium, thermometer should be 135.
About 20 minutes per pound.
