2 lg smoked ham hocks
1 sm head cabbage
2 bunches collard greens
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp liquid smoke, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Put ham hocks in pot with enough water to cover. Cook until tender. Wash greens and cut out stems, use only the leaves and cut them up. Core and cut up cabbage. When ham hocks are done (tender) take out of put and put aside. The liquid from the ham hocks, let boil down some (if too much). Put greens in pot, let cook 20-30 minutes, then add cabbage. Cook 15 minutes more. Put ham hocks on top of greens and cabbage, let stand a little, then serve and enjoy.
