1/2-1 lb. red new potatoes
3-4 big handfuls of fresh green beans
3 packets of Goya Ham flavoring
water
salt/pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash the potatoes and cut in half
Snap the end of the beans off and then snap into desired size. In a large pot combine the beans, potatoes, Goya flavoring, 1T salt and pepper. Cover with water.
Over high heat, bring to a boil; then reduce to low, cover and let cook for a couple of hours until the beans are tender and potatoes are done. To prevent boil over, insert toothpick under lid to allow steam to escape.
Taste and if needed add a little more salt and another packet of Goya

Use can use real ham instead of flavoring and make a whole meal. Buy a slice of ham steak, cut in big pieces and add to beans and potatoes and cook as directed above.
