2 pkg active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 TBS sugar
1 1/2 c buttermilk
1/4 c butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
2 eggs slightly beaten
candied fruit
raisins
5 1/2-6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together yeast, warm water, and sugar. Let stand 10 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients. Gradually stir in yeast mixture. Add in approximately 5-6 cups flour, just enough to make soft dough and not sticky. Knead 10 minutes and form into ball. Let stand 2 hours. Divide dough in half. Make each half into 12 balls. Cut cross on top and let raise. Brush tops with egg whites. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes, until brown
