2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 large red onion
1 red pepper cored and chopped
1 orange pepper cored and chopped(or green)
1 yellow pepper pepper cored and chopped
2 lb. ground turkey
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 - 28 oz. cans chopped tomatoes with juice
1 - 16 oz. can white beans drained and rinsed
1 - 16 oz. can black beans drained and rinsed
1 - 16 oz. can red beans drained and rinsed
1 - 16 oz. can chili beans WITH LIQUID
salt and pepper and Tobasco to taste

In large skillet or pot, cook onion and peppers in olive oil about 5 minutes.
Add the turkey- cook till done
Add chili powder, brown sugar and tomatoes with juice and cook 15 minutes.
Add beans, salt and pepper and Tobasco and cook another 15 minutes.

A chef named "Souper Jenny" made this recipe on the Today Show. It is her father's recipe, and she says his secret ingredient is the brown sugar. Very easy, very colorful and good on a cold day. We don't like green pepper so we substitute orange for the green.
