Butter an oblong baking dish and put in one layer raw potatoes sliced thinly. 1 layer raw onion slices, 1 pound of ground beef crumbled over the onions, 2 handfuls of raw rice or macaroni (sprinkled over the hamburger) add salt and pepper. Over this pour 1 can Mexican chili beans, 1 can tomato soup. cover entire mixture with chili powder to taste. cover with foil and bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
