1 dozen ears of corn
4 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup water
black pepper to taste
1 can cream-style corn (optional)
1/2 cup oil

Directions:
Directions:
Cut corn off the cob twice, and scrape. Put in a large bowl. Add sugar, salt, flour, milk, pepper and water; mix well.

Heat large cast iron pot or skillet with 1/2 cup of oil. Add corn and cook over low flame for 1 hour, stirring constantly.
