"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 cups flour (3-1/2 white 1/2 whole wheat flour)
1/4 tsp. yeast
1-1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups warm water
Cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients together in a large bowl. Dough will be sticky. Cover and let rise 18 hours. After this time it will be very bubbly. Oil pan and sprinkle with cornmeal. Flour counter and shape dough anyway you wish, round, square or even rolls. It will still be sticky. Sometimes I add a little more flour just enough to make dough easier to handle. Put dough on baking pan covered with cornmeal. Let rise 2 hours. Bake at 400-degrees for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Wow, this bread is so easy and so delicious.
I have made this using all white flour and it was delicious.
