Ingredients:  
3 pound Stew meat
10 small Onions ; or 1 pckg frozen pearl onions
1 package Carrot ; cut into 3rds
6 Mushroom ; quartered
1 cup Celery ; chopped
6 Potato ; cut in large peices
1 1/2 cups Red wine
1 1/2 cups Rich beef broth
1 teaspoon Thyme
3 cloves Garlic ; crushed
Brown sauce to add richness to broth such as Gravy Master

Directions:
Directions:
Saute meat til browned, drain fat
add thyme, garlic, red wine,broth and brown sauce
Cook 15 minutes
Layer vegetables on top and let cook for 1 1/2 hours
Season to Taste
Can thicken broth by adding corn starch
Check for seasoning
Serve over noodles
