Enough Keebler Club Crackers to fill a tray

1 cube butter
1/2 cup sugar

sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Place crackers one layer thick on a tray.

In a saucepan, melt butter. Add 1/2 cup sugar and whisk in over low heat until melted and of pudding consistency.
Pour over crackers and sprinkle almonds over top.
Bake 4-6 minutes (watch!) in a 425 degree oven until bubbly and golden. Do not overbrown. Remove immediately to racks.

I adapted this from some cookies someone brought and shared after Mass at San Antonio Mission! Our daughter Jennifer calls them "Cowboy Crack" because they can be addictive! A very simple and quick recipe.
