2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/8 tsp.cream of tartar, 2 tsp. oleo, few grains salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingrediants together and cook over high heat til hard ball stage. Butter a larger platter and pour in the candy. Let cool slightly til able to handle with buttered hands. Pull till it is shiny white and then pinch off pieces or cut off pieces.
