1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp melted chocolate squares
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup boiling water
1/3 cup shortening
1 1/3 cup flour

Directions:
Mix all ingredients and bake in 7 x 10 greased pan. 350 until set. Can ice with vanilla icing or chocolate icing.
