1 pt. heavy cream
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/2 C dark sweet corn syrup
2 C sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar and 1/2 pint cream in large saucepan and bring to a boil. Add remaining cream, but by but, never letting syrup to stop boiling until it reaches hard ball stage at 245 degrees. (Cook approximately 1 1/2 hours stirring constantly.) When done, remove from heat. Add vanilla. Pour in buttered pan and place in refrigerator until firm or overnight. Cut and wrap in wax paper.

This takes forever but sooo worth it when done! They usually sell for a dollar apiece in stores!
