2 c sifted flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
6 tbsp shortening
2/3 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cut shortening into the flour mixture until it resembles cornmeal. Stir in milk. Round up on lightly floured board and knead lightly. Roll or pat out about 1/2 in. thick. Cut. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in 450º oven.
