Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 lbs. steamer clams
3 sweet potatoes, cut in half
3 white potatoes, cut in half
6 small onions
hot dogs
breakfast saugage
1 lb. of chorizo, cut in chunks
3 ears of sweet corn, cut in half
water
crushed red pepper
butter
1 lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Soak the clams in cold water. Throw out and floaters. Change water once and soak again. Do not soak for more than 20 min, as the clams will lose some flavor. Prepare the vegetables. Cut sweet and white potatoes to the same size as white potatoes. In a small sauce pan boil the saugage and hot dogs for a short time to get the grease out of them. If you wish you could boil the chorizoe also. I like to leave the chorizo because I want its flavor in the water with the clams. Put the white potatoes in a very large stock pot. Cover with water and boil until half soft. Add the sweet potatoes and continue cooking until white potatoes are almost cooked fully. Add the pepper flakes, chourice, hot dogs, saugage. Cook another 10 minuets. Add corn and onions and put the clams on top of all the vegetables. Cook 15 minuets or until all the clams have opened. Serve wih melted butter, clam juice and lemon.
