2 lbs frozen shredded hash browns (thawed)
1 pint sour cream (2 cups)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup chopped onions (or the equivalent instant onions)
8 oz shredded mild cheddar cheese
1/2 stick margarine MELTED

Let hash browns thaw. Mix all ingredients together and spoon into a 2 quart oven proof pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour
