1 cup of good mayonnaise (Dukes)
1 cup of chopped scallions, white and green parts (6 to 7 scallions)
1 cup of chopped fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice (2 lemons)
2 tsp of anchovy paste
2 tsp of kosher salt
1 tsp of fresh ground black pepper
1 cup of sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients except the sour cream in a blender until smooth. Gradually add the sour cream and blend until smooth. Refrigerate the dressing until ready to serve.

This is a great dressing on a very simple salad. i do not use the anchovy paste simply because I rarely have it on hand and this dressing is still great.
