4 cup milk
3 heaping tbsp rice (uncooked)
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter
cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and add rice. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes at 350. Add sugar, vanilla and butter, stirring in and bake 1 more hour without stirring. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg if desired. Can stir in Kool Whip for a creamier pudding after done.
FOR MICROWAVE: Scald milk and add rice and cook on full power for 30 min, stirring every 5 min. Then add sugar, vanilla and butter and put back in microwave and cook on 7 power for 25-30 minutes.
