2 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c sugar
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1/3 c stick margarine (melted)
2 tbsp lemon juice
3/4 c milk
sugar for dusting (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 425º. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and the poppy seeds in a large bowl. Cut in margarine, using pastry blender, until mixture resembled fine crumbs. Mix lemon juice and milk, stir into flour mixture until dough leaves side of bowl and forms a ball. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface, gently roll in flour to coat. knead lightly 10 times. Roll or pat into a 9 in. circle. Sprinkle with sugar, cut into 8 wedges with pizza cutter. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown in 350º oven. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
