2 ripe medium cantaloupes
2 cups milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
1 quart Half and Half
1½ cups sugar
4 (14-ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and deseed both cantaloupes. Process one cantaloupe in a blender or food processor until completely pureed. Process the other cantaloupe in a blender or food processor on pulse, leaving small pieces of fruit. Scald whole milk with sugar and salt, stir until completely dissolved. Add sweetened condensed milk. Pour into ice cream freezer. Add the cantaloupe puree and cantaloupe pieces. Add vanilla and enough Half & Half to bring to fill line. Freeze as directed in a 4 quart ice cream freezer.
