1 lb link smoked sausage
1 large onion
1 T of flour
1/2 Envelope of Lipton Onion & Mushroom soup mix
Large frying pan
Cut the links in half - steam in a large frying pan with diced onions until the onions are carmelized.
Pour small amount of water into the pan and allow drippings to form. Cover with a lid and simmer for 5 -10 minutes. Pour in the soup mix and flour. Allow to cook low until gravy forms. Season with salt and pepper to taste. That's all to it!

Smoked sausage and gravy is good as a stand alone side dish, or can be served for breakfast. My Mother and Aunt Nora cooked this for breakfast and served it with creamy grits.
