1 large onion, chopped
1/4 cup butter (or bacon fat) of course I use bacon fat
5 large potatoes, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
4 cups light cream
1 cup fish stock ( knors used to make fish cubes)
salt to taste
2 pounds fresh skinless and boneless cod fillets
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
garnish: butter, paprika

Directions:

adjust seasoning.
Serve in mugs or bowls with a bit of butter floating on top.
Sprinkle with paprika if you like.
