1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. white flour
1 c. skim milk powder
1/3 c. melted meat fat (or bacon grease)
1 egg
1 c. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Add beaten egg. Mix well. Add melted fat and water. Combine, then roll onto a floured board and cut into shapes. (roll to about 1/2" thick)

Bake at 350ºF for 50 to 60 min...must be very dry to keep. Freezes well.

I also have added shredded carrots, minced liver or grated cheese. You can add almost any grated vegetable except onions and garlic. Have fun and I am positive your four legged friend will love these.
