(Beat on medium speed 2 minutes)

2 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp soda
(Sift and add)

3 cups coarsely grated carrots
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts

Frosting:
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
2 tsp vanilla
1 lb powdered sugar

Bake at 300º for one hour in a 9"x13" pan.
