2 lbs. frozen shredded hash browns
1/2 c. margarine
1 can cream of mushroom soup OR
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream (take out 1/3)
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 c. cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease 11 x 14 baking pan with cooking spray.

Saute onions and butter until onions are soft. Defrost hashbrowns in microwave.

Now mix all the ingredients. Scoop or pour mixture in 11x14 greased baking dish.

Bake for 45 min - 1 hour.
