2 c sliced mushrooms
1/2 c chopped onion
1 clove garlic
2 T parsley
1 tsp basil
1/8 tsp pepper
2 T butter
2/3 c uncooked rice
1 1/3 c chicken broth
1/3 c chopped, toasted slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Saute 1st 6 ingredients in butter for 5 minutes. Stir in rice and broth and bring to a boil over high heat. Cover, reduce heat and simmer until all liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender (about 25"). Stir in almonds and serve.
