2 pounds of ground beef (or beef boneless thin sliced round steak, cut into ½ inch pieces)
2 cups chopped onions
2 cans (28 oz) petite diced tomatoes (drained)
2 cans (15 oz) tomato sauce
2 jars (5 oz) hot sauce (3 jars for Hot version)
6 teaspoons chili powder
4 teaspoons ground cumin
3 teaspoons crushed red peppers (6 tsp. for Hot version)
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 chopped small green bell pepper
1 chopped small red bell pepper
1 chopped small yellow bell pepper
4 cans (15 oz) chili beans (drained)
Shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except bell peppers, beans and cheese in 5 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat setting about 5 ½ hours or until beef an vegetables are tender. Stir in bell peppers and beans. Continue cooking another 1 ½ to 2 hours. Serve covered with Cheddar cheese as desired.
