1 tbsp cornstarch
6 tbsp white sugar
½ Cup water
3 egg whites
few grains of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cornstarch, sugar, water, and salt. Cook in a saucepan over medium heat stirring constantly until thick and clear – set off the burner. Beat egg whites until frothy. Continue beating while slowly pouring cooked mixture into egg whites. Beat 5 minutes, cover cooled pie with meringue, sealing edges of crust. Bake in 450º oven for 5 to 10 minutes.
