¾ Cup margarine or butter
3/4 Cup white sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 Cup flour
1/2 Cup cornmeal
1 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp vanilla
½ Cup raisins (optional)

Directions:

Mix butter and sugar in large bowl. Add egg and beat well. Drop dough with a spoon teaspoon on greased baking pan. Bake at 350º about 15 minutes until lightly brown.
