1 1/2 lbs. Italian sausage cut in 1” lengths
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 large chopped onion
1 large can pear shaped Italian tomatoes
3 cans beef broth
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 Tbsp. basil
Parsley ( optional)
5 oz. of bow tie pasta

Directions:
Directions:
In a 5 qt. container, brown sausage. Drain fat, add garlic and onions. Cook until translucent.
Stir in tomatoes with liquid, smashing them up. Add broth and basil. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
Add rest of ingredients and simmer covered 25 minutes.
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
