5 cans minced clams
2 bunches green onions, finely chopped
1 cup butter
2 stalks celery, chopped fine
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
2 potatoes, diced
1 large can clam juice
1 qt. half and half
2 pt. whipping cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup flour
1/4 cup lemon juice
Dash Tabasco sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large pot. Add vegetables and pour in just enough water to cover. Pour in the juice from clams and add canned clam juice. Cook until tender. Mix flour and half and half until smooth. Slowly add to vegetables, stirring constantly. Continue stirring and cook without boiling until thickened. Add clams, lemon juice, and Tabasco sauce. Stir. Add whipping cream. Heat through.
