1 lb beef cube steak
2 t. ground cumin
salt and pepper to taste
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
1 16 oz. jar salsa, (pineapple is fantastic)
water as needed
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º . Brown steak in pan. Place the steaks in a 13 x 9 baking dish and season with cumin and salt and pepper. Arrange the onion and the pepper over the meat and pour the salsa over all. Add some water as needed to the bottom of the dish. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 375º for 50 minutes. Add shredded cheese for remaining 10 minutes.
