1/4 c butter
1 onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 head cabbage, cored and shredded
1/2 tbsp. caraway seeds
3 1/2 c chicken stock
1/4 lb bleu cheese, crumbled
2 c heavy cream
white pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and bay leaf. Cook until onions are translucent, stirring occasionally for 15 minutes. Add cabbage and caraway to onions and cook cabbage until it wilts, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.

Add chicken stock and simmer 15 minutes to blend flavors. Remove bay leaf. Add cheese and stir well until melted. Stir in cream and heat through. Do not boil. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

To serve, top with more bleu cheese.
