2 lbs potatoes - peeled and thinly sliced
1 C milk
1 C whipping cream
1 C crumbled goat cheese
1 clove garlic - minced
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Generously butter a glass baking dish. Whisk together milk, cream, cheese, garlic, salt, pepper and nutmeg till well blended. Arrange 1/3 of the potato slices in bottom of prepared dish, overlapping slightly and covering bottom completely. Pour 1/3 of the cream mixture over potatoes. Repeat layers 2 more times. Bake uncovered until potatoes are tender and top is golden brown - about 1 1/4 hours.
