Personal Notes:
For Thanksgiving I always serve sugared walnuts and salted almonds. These I serve in my little cloisonne cups which my mother gave me years ago. I have added enough cups to my collection so each member of my family has a cup. As we had walnut trees on the ranch, I would crack the walnuts in the evening while Dad and I watched television. After shelling the walnuts, select the good halves and use them in the following recipe.
