3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp baking soda
6 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in 9x13 inch pan (sift dry ingredients) make 3 wells in dry mix.
In one hole put- 2 tsp vanilla
next one- 2 Tbls. vinegar
next- 10 Tbls melted butter

Pour 2 cups cold water over all and mix well ( until all traces of flour are gone)
Bake at 350º 30-35 minutes or until done

This recipe came from mom's recipe box and is in her handwriting. We had this alot growing up, they even made this cake at grade school. It was always iced with white powdered sugar icing or a cream cheese icing would also be good.
