1 cup butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups confectioner's sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup ground almonds
2 cups sifted flour


Topping:
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter, vanilla, 2 cups of confectioners sugar and salt. Add almonds. Blend in flour. Shape dough into balls or crescents, using a rounded teaspoonful for each. Bake on ungreased baking sheets for 15 to 18 minutes. (Cookies will not be brown when done). Roll in cinnamon mixture while warm.
