Directions:
Wash beans or okra with salt water
Heat lids
warm up brine (vinegar, water, and salt) to almost boiling
In each jar, add one clove garlic, 1/4 tsp crushed or regular crushed red pepper, and a dill seed head
Pack jars with ingredients (okra, beans, or any other veggie you want to experiment with)
Pour brine over jars up to 1/2 " of edge
Put lids and rings on
Now, put in a cold water bath with water just over the top of jars
Bring to a boil 8-10 minutes
Remove jars and you should begin to hear the jars sealing (Pop!)
If they don't just turn them upside down and see if that helps.
If a jar doesn't seal, just put it in to the fridge and eat it first.
Give jars 2 weeks to marinate, then Enjoy!

This brine is a great recipe for pickling just about anything. If you double the recipe, it will do 6 pints.
